Analogue Tape Glove @ UAMO Festival Munich

We recently got back from Munich where we exhibited the Analogue Tape Glove for the 4th time. There were a few hiccups with regards to the installation, the main problem being the Tape Surface we spent hours and hours constructing was destroyed en route to Munich (Thanks Easyjet!).

In hindsight the incident provided us with an opportunity to experiment with trying out a new tape surface. Instead of using a pre-made canvas, we took a more site specific approach to the work and stuck cassette tape directly onto the gallery wall. This resulted in a completely new aesthetic for the work as well as opening up potential for a completely site specific version of the work in the future.

We are currently preparing for our residency with Blast Theory next year where we hope to expand the project.
